First off, good looks Eazy, been waiting for Summer Madness ‘09 to come out forever.  Defenitely gonna pick that up (prolly listen to the whole mix, and then download some select burners).  I think that we should defenitely ask Benzi for a shout out on his site too at some point.

You guys know that I’m a fan of a good mash up.  Forest Friend Jean Luc gave me the heads up on this new album.  Not all the mash ups on here are top notch, but for sure worth checking out.  The remix of Jeezy’s “Go Crazy” is pretty good.

So someone asked themselves “Hey, what if J Dilla had produced The Blueprint?”   The dude who writes the blog where I found this says it best: “it’s not like Kanye West and Just Blaze were exactly slacking on what’s arguably one of the best produced albums this decade.”  So I would say it is worth checking out, but def not better than the OG (even though KRS already made an ALBUM CALLED BLUEPRINT!!!!!!!!!) Yes that was an Ether reference.

On some actually really cool tip:

Lately I’ve been really into the NY Times “Lens” photo journalism blog.  Maybe it’s because I just scanned 150 photos into my computer at work last week, or because when I was 16 I was dead set on going to S.U.N.Y. Purchase and becoming a photojournalist (still kinda want to become one), but I just think this site is really ill.

I thought this entry from that blog was especially interesting.  Really interesting to see pictures of Russia from that time, and the photographers story is interesting too.

fun fact:  I’m on the bus to New York right now.

p.s. I have been hearing rumors via facebook that Fox met Jeezy at the Amsterdam airport.  Let me just say this to you Vincente, PICTURES OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN!!!
